Basement Part 2

So the first part of the basement. the pics don't give it justice of what we did. But now i have cabnets above the laundrey machine and a counter on the side you can kinda see. Joe made a little work shop for him self with the old kitchen cubards and a counter he got for a couple of bucks. Now he just needs orginize it.

the red carpet after over 10 times of vacuming. Joe thought maybe we can keep it for a little while... So many differnt angels of vacuming and it's looking alot better and we think all the pins and coins are now picked up. So now carpet cleaning.. which is going to take awhile but in the end hopfully will be good.

When we get things alittle more orginized and clean i'm going to have to do a video of the house so people such as Diane and frank can see what has happened to the house since the paint job....cause taking pics is hard to get all the angels.

Basement Part 1

Isabel's new play mat in the basment. Were working on the floor...a little at a time. But Isabel does love the mat. she likes to run in circles on it.

Healthy Breakfast

so first time i just made a scambled eggs for Isabel. I'm lazy like that. Plus i let her have some of my peanutbutter toast and gave her orange jucie for the first time. She was excited about her breakfast today, sporting the hair clip i made yesterday. I attempted to make another type of flower but accidently did the folds wrong so i just worked with what i had and created differnt one. i think it's still pretty cute! I'm gonna have to attempt the other one again maybe today.

Cute as can Be!

So for family home evening tonight we went out to eat and Isabel had so much fun looking at people and listening to their confersations. Afterwards we decieded Isabel needed to get out and so we just walking around the mall so Isabel could explore. She tottally wore herself out by the end she was ready for bed.

Right before we left to eat, we found that I got a package. Yay! So thanks Diane! We put on one of her new outfits from grandma Di and took some pics of her when we were getting into the car. She didn't want to get into the car. She was way excited for her new penguin puppet too!

so after trying to post some more video and not working/ being way too slow i decided to stop it.

But it was fun seeing Isabel doing her "fake" laugh at the videos. its so funny.

Tonight i let Isabel have her big girl princess cup a try... again. She loves it and won't let me take it away from her. So good job Grandma Leonard! She will even drink water out of it i guess it's like a water bottle to her. Plus joe said she wouldn't be able to hold it herself cause she is to little. She tottally proved him wrong! She can even stand up and drink it by herself!

So we decided to check out the Airforce muesum. It was fun for the first hour and then i'm pretty sure all the planes started to look alike...

When isabel was walking around she would go right to the shop there and grab as many stuff bears that she could carry and then run out of the store. She was so funny and sadly we didn't even get her one. She was sleeping by the time we went there with her daddy so she couldn't use her charm to get one.

Hair clips!

For my birthday my sister made me these cute flower clips! I want to learn how to make them! From this is what got me started in trying to sew again! There is another fabric flower i really want to try and make too (www.prudentbaby.com)! I just need to find my glue gun where ever it is... or buy another cheap one.

Pants!

Here is my first sucessful pair of pants for Isabel. It took me two other tries from my old pj pants to get it right. But hey she now has pj pants! They are a little short but now i know for next time. I'm suprised that they would be short since Isabel is so little! This pattern is soo easy though! If i can do it anyone can do it!

You can't really tell in the picture but the material is corteroy and the dots are actully light blue with the brown background.

Frog Towel

ok so i found a cute pattern for a frog hooded towel ( http://www.make-baby-stuff.com/). So after i made it i realized that its so huge compared to Isabel. But hey at least she can grow into it! She walking around with it like it's a blanket! So pretty good for my first sewing project that i actully did all by myself!
